Mulching allows you to pick and choose which vegetation to keep and improves the appearance, health and value of your property while causing the least impact to the land.  It combnes cutting, grinding and clearing of vegetation into a single, streamlined operation transforming the vegetation into a fine mulch. 

 

Mulching is a cost-effective environmentally friendly way to improve your land's soil health, reduce erosion, and control invasive species. As mulch decomposes, organic materials release nutrients back into the soil. Traditional land clearing involves cutting and removing all the debris off-site which is costly and time consuming. With mulching, a protective layer of mulch is left on site to save time and costs, while leaving a protective layer of mulch that will retain moisture, protect native roots, and prevent erosion wash-outs. 

 

Improving your forest's tree growth  is another way in which mulching is beneficial to landowners.
